I can simply track down the status of my application for the PhD program in ECU by browsing the ECU Application Manager site.
This site will inform you on the status of activities conducted by the Uni while processing for your application. As for my case, my status clearly showed that, I've submitted my application form on 22 June 2007. The Uni only started to process it on 25 June 2007. On 21 Aug 2007, it then stated that my application was successful (which I will elaborate later in my future posting).
This site also allows you to upload and save all the necessary documents required for the application process to be uploaded in stages. You may upload one document for now, save it and return back to this site on the next day to upload another more. Once you feel that you have fulfilled all of its application requirements, you may then submit it through this system.
The PhD journey has ended... : (

As per what the dean said, 1 applicant (phd scholarship) will be going to UK, 7 to New Zealand and Australia and 4 split (with nottingham). Others may be placed at UiTM under twinning with RMIT Australia.

MAklumat tambahan, semua yang di offer scholarship mesti memulakan pengajian selewat-lewatnya Julai 2008. If not, KPT akan tarik semula scholarship untuk diberikan kepada universiti-universiti lain yang mempunyai staf yang sudah bersedia.

ReplyDeleteActually, all those yang dapat interview, sememangnya dah lepas untuk peringkat fakulti. Cuma depends on the interview session peringkat UiTM yang menentukan dapat atau tidak, kalau dapat, kat mana (UK, NZ, AUS or M'sia). Cumanya this time what I can say, those yang dah ready (dah dapat offer and also supervisor) would be at the highest rank. Sebabnya, dah dapat tempat means the Univ. already reviewed your proposal and you are ready to Fly as soon as possible. Actually guidelines baru MOHE, candidates kena start selewat-lewatnya by July 2008. Tentang you dapat ke tidak, hanya BLPS sahaja yang tahu (result belum sampai kat fakulti but dekan kata tak lama lagi akan release the names). Insya-allah, berdoalah semoga mendapat yang terbaik for you and your family.
